Why Pumpkin Pilates?
Pumpkin Pilates was born from both loss and opportunity — and from a deep love for community.
The studio where I first fell in love with Pilates, trained, and grew as an instructor eventually closed its doors. Suddenly, there was nothing left in my hometown. No reformers. No Pilates studios. Nothing even within the county.
The hour that had once been my reset — my space to breathe and reconnect — now required traveling miles away. And I realized something important:
Our community deserved that space too.
Morton is proudly known as the Pumpkin Capital of the World — a town built on tradition, connection, and hometown pride. As I sat brainstorming names with my best friend, one idea immediately felt right. The moment we said it out loud, we knew.
Pumpkin Pilates.
From that moment, the dream began — though bringing it to life took many more months of planning, risk, and pouring every piece of myself into creating something meaningful.
Pumpkin Pilates was created to feel like home.
A place where you can walk in exactly as you are — whether you're brand new, returning after injury, building strength, or exploring advanced Pilates repertoire. A space where learning includes making mistakes, growing together, and discovering what your body is capable of.
I'm still learning every day, and that spirit of curiosity and growth lives inside this studio. We learn together. We celebrate progress together.
Maybe you come for fitness.
Maybe you come to stay healthy.
Maybe you're rebuilding strength or confidence.
Whatever brings you here, my hope is that you find more than just a workout.
I want Pumpkin Pilates to be the place where you breathe deeper, believe in yourself again, and leave feeling stronger — physically and mentally. A space filled with encouragement, body positivity, friendship, and joy.
The best part of your day.
A second home, right here in our own little piece of pumpkin land — bringing a much-needed Pilates studio back to Morton and back to the community that inspired it.
